“Applying the Six Sigma Methodology to
Real World Problems—Part 1”
Six Sigma is an organized way to help businesses run better. By “run
better” we mean doing a better job of satisfying the needs of the
customers of the business and at the same time making a greater profit.
During this workshop attendees will use the DMAIC roadmap within Six Sigma
to apply the concepts to a real world problem they bring to the workshop. It
is assumed that the attendees have attended the 2/18/06 “Six Sigma
Basics” workshop or in some other way have an introductory knowledge
of the concepts that will be used.
Emphasis during this workshop will be placed on the
