Report on the 6/17/06 Workshop

“Understanding Income Tax Laws and Managing Your Money:
Two Keys to Having a Successful Career or Business ”

A total of 25 people were in attendance at this workshop.  The following three topics were discussed:

            1.  The overall structure of an individual income tax return.
            2.  How your small business and rental property can decrease your taxes.
            3.  Simple, but effective, techniques for managing your money.

All attendees received a copy of Chet Harmer’s booklet:

“How to Run Out of Month Before You Run Out of Money”

The major topics covered in the booklet are:

            1.  Get Set to Budget
            2.  Budgeting Made Easy (or at least easier)
            3.  Frosting On Your Financial Cake
